Terracotta

Terracotta is made from clay which is moulded and then fired to produce tiles. The clay is either moulded by hand, having a more rustic feel, or machine-moulded for a more consistent finish. Terracotta is very porous and unsealed tiles will look very different from a finished floor.

Mexican Saltillo

Mexican Saltillo

A dramatically varying handmade terracotta imported directly from Mexico that comes with chips, salt pockets, lime pops and the occasional paw print! Saltillo varies and the final floor will include rich reds, burnt oranges and even pinky and yellowy tones, these help to give a Saltillo floor an aged look from day one.
